CAn I get to show up just under cavs?
So this is my second product to review- The Booty Max. (Excuse my horrible picture taking)
This is an “as seen on tv” product. Personally I had never heard of it. That is, until the day I bought it. Before I tell you what I paid for it let me tell me how much I’ve seen this thing go for. It’s currently selling for upwards of $60. I’ve seen it on Groupon for $15.00 and on Amazon for $24.
While wondering through my local Five Below (a store where everything is well, $5.00 or less) I found this and really not knowing anything about it I shoved it in my cart. For $5 bucks? I wasn’t expecting too much but liked the idea of having a small piece of exercise equipment. Santa stuck it under the tree for my husband and I.
So yea, I paid $5.00 for it!
It comes with a booklet of instruction and exercises and a DVD. The DVD is pretty helpful in really showing the different ways this can be used.
My first thought was this equipment is cheap and poorly made. I feel like it would break pretty easily. I wouldn’t depend on the handle for real support. My hubby is a pretty big guy and there is no way he would be able to put his weight on it and expect support. But that’s not what it’s made for.
I will say that if you go through the suggested exercises and you do them seriously, you will feel the burn. They do work and I’m happy with my purchase.
This not only takes up little room it also breaks down and is easily storable in the say the space of a bathroom scale.
Will it give you maximum booty? I have no clue. No do I care. What do I use it for? On days when it’s just way too cold or rainy to get out and run, this is a great way to get something in. I’m really happy with my purchase.
Would I have paid $60.00 for this? Hell no! But for $5 bucks? You bet your booty!
Cavs vs. Orlando on Thursday. While I love my Cavs all day long this Thursday was date night so I taped it.
So it’s Friday evening; breakfast for dinner and a Cavs game. I managed to avoid the score for 24 hours. ….. Here we are……eggs, cheese, toast, sausage and a Swish, baby!
Coming in right away, nothin’ but JR! Let me say, I cheered it up for this one. JR Swish. He’s a CAV. He’s family. LOVE this guy!! When all the big trades went down and his named was brought up I would be a liar if I didn’t panic.
And when he took a back burner to players coming in??? Yea I cussed. This is Da’ Swish. There’s something to be said about loyalty and he’s in. All in. For me, he’s a Cav. For me, he’s first string……..love me some Swish
Why did “The First Jedi” sit out?? I’m often confused as to why amazing players “get their turn” in this game. I love me some Cedi! This kiddo is enthusiastic, he’s eager to learn, he’s got a cool name and he ain’t bad!
Let’s move on to the bottom line….
Was this a win?? The scoreboard says yes and that’s the bottom line. The only thing you need for a win is to have a higher score than your opponent at the end of the game.
But as far as our skill on the court, was that a win? Loosing that 20+ point lead to win in the last 2 seconds of the game……….really, not cool. 20 point leads, for a team like the Cavs, should, by all accounts, be a one sided, dare I say, ‘boring’ game. Exciting for the fans of the wining team but really not much to of a nail biter. But the Cleveland Cavs want to take us THERE every time. Nothing seems to come easy to them and in the games I’ve been watching lately, that’s their fault.
The scoreboard says that one belongs to us and as opposed to the 5 game loosing streak we would be on without it, I’ll take it. But I didn’t feel a “well deserved” win here. I felt it was nothing more than a higher score at the buzzer. And that stinks.
“All for one” I’m a Cavs fan; win or loose. I’m in. I’m ride or die here. But man, Cavs, you’re killin’ me!!
So glad you’ve stopped by. I’d love to be able to tell you what you’ll find here but the truth is I never really know. I blog when the mood strikes me. About what? Whatever strikes me:)
As for me I’m an Ohio mom not quite over the hill but still tired from the climb. I’m the mom of two girls- my oldest is married and living life. My youngest is a high school water polo player.
I’m the wife of a very talented, award winning, wine maker. (Yes, I’m a lucky girl!)
As a couple we love trying new wineries, traveling, Trivial Pursuit, camping, visiting Lake Erie and we’re die hard Cleveland Cavaliers fans. (Don’t even get me started) This house bleeds wine and gold!
Me? When I’m not screaming at Lebron on the big screen, I’m dreaming of going to a game. Other than that, I love cooking and trying new recipes. I own a small business called Spicy Mary Mix. I make spice packs for chip dips and a kick ass Bloody Mary mix. (Like us on Facebook!)
I run a local organization called Joansjourney.org All money is raised in our community and stays in our community.
I have a new growing love for learning to run. It’s not as easy as Forest made it seem. I invite all of my followers to check out virtual runs. (Google it) It’s an amazing way to self motivate while giving back. I EARNED 13 medals in 2017 and I have no plans to stop now.
My family, community and my Joan’s Journey organization is everything to me. It’s important to me to ‘live local.‘ What does live local mean to me? For me, it’s supporting my community by shopping locally, doing my best to be a good neighbor, supporting my local school system and just all around being in touch with the community.
I’m totally dog obsessed. Dodger and Bree are two very important members of our family and yes, I’m ‘that’ dog mom.
So that’s me. Cheers!
